Movie Media: The Assassination of Jesse James by The Coward Robert Ford - Poster, Trailer

This Fall is bringing not one, but two good looking westerns. One is the remake of 3:10 to Yuma featuring the impressive duo of Russell Crowe and Christain Bale. The other is another tale of the most famous of outlaws, Jesse James. It feels as if this one should have been already through theaters. I swear I saw a trailer for this last summer claiming it would be out the Fall of '06, but here we are and it lloks like it is finally going to see th light of day in 2007. It has a long and unwieldy title, but the trailer looks very good. While Yuma looks to deliver the action, The Assassination of Jesse James by The Coward Robert Ford seems to fall much more towards the dramatic side of life. Brad Pitt and Casey Affleck star as James and Ford for writer/director Andrew Dominik.
