Movie Media: Eastern Promises - Stills, Poster

It was a few weeks ago when the Eastern Promises trailer came out accompanied by a couple of stills. Now, we are a little closer to its release and we now have the poster and a few more stills. It is David Cronenberg's follow-up to the excellent A History of Violence, this time he brings Viggo Mortensen back to the fold, and pairs him with Naomi Watts. The film looks interesting, how can it not when you're talking about Cronenberg? The story follows a killer named Nikolai (Viggo), who is tied to a powerful crime family. His life is turned upside down when he crosses paths with a well-meaning midwife (Watts). It was written by Steve Knight, and is set for wide release on September 14th.
