Movie Media: The Martian Child - Poster, Trailer

John Cusack follows up his successful horror outing with a family film. This trailer has been around for some time now, but that makes it no less worthwhile. I think this movie looks like it will be very good. Cusack is generally solid, and this looks to have enough heart and enough offbeat quirk to allow it to stand out. Cusack is a writer who adopts a lonely boy who is convinced that he is a Martian (aren't we all?). Anyway, Cusack uses some alternative methods to get through to the boy. I have hope for this one. I will say that the poster is less than exciting and I cannot help but think of The Pursuit of Happyness when I see it.
