Gemini Division - NBC's Online Only Series

Recently, NBC launched a new series that is only being shown in webisode form. It is called Gemini Division. It stars Rosario Dawson and Justin Hartley (Oliver Queen on Smallville). So far two episodes have been posted, running approximately 12 minutes total. I haver not made my mind up yet, but I am intigued. I think my biggest problem with it is that it looks like cut scenes from a video game. You know, the kind of game that has live actors performing in front of a blue screen, that is what this looks like, and the blue screen is not all that good.

Episode 1 is called "Eyes Wide Open." We are introduced to Anna (Dawson) and her boyfriend Nick (Hartley). The episode is set up like a series of video phone calls over a Windows Mobile device (could that be product placement?). We learn that they are vacationing in Paris, that she is a cop and he has a pacemaker. It ends on something of a surprising note, I guess they wanted to do something to get you hooked.


Episode 2 is called "Tug of War." In this episode we learn what happened after the end of the first episode, as well as something left behind in the tub..... Oooh mysterious!


Overall, I would not necessarily call this good, but I am interested in where they are going, which I guess is what they were hoping for.
