Zombie's Halloween to Get a Sequel

It looks like Halloween is going to get a sequel, thus starting another line of continuity for the franchise. It will now join the likes of The Hills Have Eyes and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre as having two separate lines of continuity crossing multiple films. Well, I guess that isn't that big a deal. The big deal is whether or not you will like it, or even want it. I for one think it could be good, considering I am a fan of the Zombie take, not Zombie Michael but Rob Zombie, but I digress.

Arrow in the Head is reporting that French directing duo Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo are in talks to helm the project. The duo say in an interview with Rue Morgue magazine that they are looking to put their own stamp on the character while continuing the continuity begun by Rob Zombie's film. Interesting indeed, just how will they bring Michael around in this one?

If you are wondering who those two are, allow me to refer you to Inside. The horror film is a brutal, shocking affair that comes with plenty of blood and a level of violence that is sure to have some effect on you. With this gem in their back pocket, I have no doubt that they could deliver a Halloween that would knock our socks off.

Whether or not this actually becomes reality is yet to be seen, but if talks are under way, one can only beleive we may be closer than we think.
