Friday the 13th: Part II - Trailer

One year after Friday the 13th helped kick off the slasher movement of the 1980's we get the first sequel. It is not my favorite of the series, but it does do something different from other franchises. In the sequel, the killer is not the same as in its predecessor. I am sorry if I am spoiling this for you, but Jason Voorhees was not the killer in the original film. On top of that, he may be the killer here, but he does not where a hockey mask. Funny, considering Jason and the hockey mask are the most iconic ingredients in a Friday the 13th film. The trailer continues the trend of counting the kills from the first, but does not shy away from showing glimpses of Jason. I assume this was to show how the film could exist with the way the original ended.
