This looks like it could be fun. It is a comedy about a dysfunctional family dynamic that ends up in betrayal and revenge. Alan Rickman stars as the highly educated Eli Michaelson, recent winner of the Nobel Prize in chemistry. However, as he is accepting his award, his son is being kidnapped. When the ransom call comes in, Eli refuses to pay. At this point Eli's issues all begin to pile up (including an affair with a student) while his son teams with his kidnapper to get money out of Daddy. The cast also includes Bryan Greenberg, Shawn Hatosy, Mary Steenburgen, Bill Pullman, Eliza Dushku and Danny DeVito. Release date: December 5, 2008
