Newsmakers - Trailer

It is not just Hollywood that likes to get in on the remake train. This is a teaser trailer for a Russian film (with a Swedish director) that remakes a film from Hong Kong. The Russian film is called Newsmakers and it is a remake of Johnnie To's action film Breaking News. It is about a news organization that turns a stand off with a gang into a reality show. I have not seen the original (although I do own it), but this still looks good, and is proof we are not the only country importing films to be remade.
